The most significant new feature is CoCoA, a completely new linear algebra package with many sophisticated algorithms never seen before in the Wolfram Language. It was built with performance in mind, achieving state of the art speeds for large sparse systems of equations. Not only does it speed up operations like matrix multiplication, but it also delivers significant algorithmic advances, such as rank-revealing QR factorizations and eigenvalue solvers that give full sparsity pattern details. The Wolfram Language has always had a large collection of functions available for interacting with the web. Now, there's a brand new version of our flagship web API, which adds hundreds of new functions to programmatically access the latest generation of internet services. These include neural networks, voice assistants, cloud services and messaging platforms. The Wolfram Language also includes features that make it even better for specific areas like quantum computing or data science.
