I've been using Solidworks for over 3 years now, and have found it to be the easiest way to design parts for my engineering projects. These programs are pretty expensive though, so I decided that maybe I'd try out an alternative. Because of this, I downloaded the serial torrent for 64 Bit Solidworks 2010 instead of purchasing it online like you normally would. This software is free to download, save as many times as you want, and share with whoever else also wants to use it! Uploading files can be done in about 10 minutes or less using Windows 7 or OSX Lion (requires OSX Lion). Although this is a cracked version of the program, you don't need to worry about virus or malware infections because this is a self extracting archive, which means it contains the software and some installation instructions. It's pretty good for getting around security and social engineering (if you're trying to be sneaky and not get caught.) You can probably use this version of Solidworks for your school projects or engineering related assignments since some colleges or universities offer their students with specific software for certain classes. (You'll have to ask.) If you're like me and like to model your own parts, then this is a great way to get the software you want without having to pay for it. I've used Solidworks since my high school days and I really like the program. I know how to use it and how can make parts which can be used in real life pretty quickly because of how easy the interface is. The only problem is that I don't get paid for modeling parts, but I'm probably going to be an engineer or scientist in the future anyway so it wouldn't really matter if I could do these types of tasks in Solidworks or not. I recommend this software because it's free, easy to use, and pretty quick for how powerful it is. I also like the idea that thousands of other people are using this type of software too. This program can be used by any type of engineer or scientist because you can use it to design just about anything!
